I have a little girl name Kalea... She's small and very funny. Oh how I love the beginning phrase of Charlie & Lola! As much as Kalea loves that show, I think I love it even more than she does. Lauren Child is an amazing clever storyteller, and I just adore her work. As much as Kalea and Lola are alike, I think the one big similarity they share is that they are wonderers. They are curiousity-driven! I think most toddlers are like that. The more unfamiliar things are to them, the more drawn to them they are. (i sounded like yoda there!)
Every little thing Kalea does inspires me. This time, it's her wondering nature. If I could let her outside all day long, she'd just be happily wondering around looking, picking up, poking around, peeping, peeking, absorbing everything. And she does it all with such a detailed girly nature. She'd pick things up with her teeny fingers and examine them closely. Then if she is amused, she'd pop them in her mouth. That's when all our neighbors hear, "No, Kalea!" Then, she would look at me and laugh just to taunt me. Of course I'd laugh too and then we'd walk on. And everytime someone walks by, she just has to say "hi." Most people say "hi" back, but there are some grumps that'll just go about their business and ignore her. But she still would stand there and wave and say "hi" in her cute little voice. She's a very happy child, and I just know she won't grow up to be a grump!
My grab bag contents have been unpacked and if you didn't get a chance to pick the bag up, you can see them here now, available individually. Special thanks to those who purchased the bag. Please please please do come back and hook me up with links to your pages. I would truly love to see them! Really, I would!
Anyway, I have a new kit inspired by Kalea's wondering nature, called Natural Wonders available now at Two Little Pixels. I had soooo much fun creating this kit. It's loaded with oodles of my own hand-drawn doodles of little creatures (my favorite is the hedgie hoggie), foliages, frames, and cute puffy clouds for decorating or journaling on. There's also a little 'wonder' wordart for you to play with. I've added some glitter to the doodles cause they make Kalea go "oooooooooooh...". Oh, and there's a precious set of alphas, too! Here's a preview of Natural Wonders and a layout I created solely using the kit. It's perfect for the little wonderer(s) in your life!
Have a fabulous weekend full of wonders! And for all the mothers out there, enjoy your day. We all deserve to be treated like queens! Check back later or during the weekend, and I may just have something special for just for you wonderful ladies!

Love your page you made! I love those colours and she's just adorable!!
I haven't made anything yet, but I did use the quick page like I said I would! :) I made it for my nephew.
