Update on Brady

YES! There is an update! We have Brady home now! This feeling of relief is almost surreal, because we were so scared he wouldn't make it. He is walking around like he's drunk, and when he walks to you, he can't stop.

I want to especially thank all of you who sent me lovely e-mails and comments of good thoughts. And believe it or not, I truly believe they contributed to Brady’s recovery. I know our relationship is mostly blogger to reader, but thank you all for making that extra special connection between us when you comment or send me e-mails. Thank you from the very souls of our hearts! As a special thank you, please feel free to use this coupon at my shop for 35% of my products through the weekend, good for one-time use: iLoveBrady. Proceeds from these sales will go towards the giant vet bill! I will also in the works of a ‘doggie’ kit to help with the vet bill as well. So keep an eye out for that within the next month or so.

I will be releasing this paper pack for Friday, 12 solid papers with 12 unique textures. So keep an eye out for them in the shop very late tonight and definitely in the shop tomorrow. (I know it's not the easiest thing to keep track of my time references, so there's a handy dandy clock to the right so you will always know what time I'm referring to.)

 

Just wanted to share these photos of Kalea with her doggies, Brady and Joey. Brady is just over a year old, and Joey is about six (human years, that is!). Joey is actually mine. She’s a rat terrier mix. It’s quite difficult to find an apartment complex that accepts dogs. So when we moved to our new apartment, our only choice is to keep Joey at my parents’ house. I think she is quite happy there as there is a giant backyard for her to run around freely and then when Brady arrived, she had a friend. They do play rough as all dogs do, but Brady is much bigger than her. If we ever get our own house, I would have lotsa dogs. I just love ‘em so!

Well, just keep dwelling...

Hey folks! I'm going to keep this one short today, as my mind is totally elsewhere today worried sick about our family dog (aka to Kalea as 'My Brady') who ate snail bait this past Wednesday night and has been in the ER since. All his tests are coming out normal, but he is still seizing. We really don't know at this point if he will survive, but it is not looking good. He is barely a year old, and I am completely heartbroken. So sorry for the gloom post today, I'm just feeling quite numb. I hope you don't mind me sharing a lil bit of my life. I'm hoping to do it more often than I have, as this world is just a much better place if we are all friendly with one another. :)

This is a photo of Kalea and 'My Brady' just a few months ago. She loves him so, and the feeling is mutual.

I still remember when we brought him home. Instantly, she said, "He's all mine?"
