I swear I feel like I'm the worst blogger ever. With my busy schedule, I often take this blog for granted, so I thank you again for still following me. I love creating alpha sets, as I love playing, experimenting, and designing with typography, but titling a page with big alpha is one of my biggest challenges. I see clever alpha uses on pages all the time, but it's been such a challenge for me. For this July 4th, I created Stripes Alpha Set. I hope y'all are enjoying the long weekend so far. Kalea was more than thrilled that I am home for three whole days with her. We had a fun date night at the dollar movies Friday night. We watched Rio, and it was absolutely delightful. On Saturday, we chillaxed (chillax = kalea's favorite word at the moment) at home and lounged in front of the tv. Today, we mostly chillaxed at home too, but we took her swimming at one of the bazillion pools in our lovely community. Two weeks ago, we went swimming with a neighborhood friend, and Kalea actually stuck her head in the water one canon ball after another. This is the girl who would freak if water gets in her face during bath/shower. So I was so very proud of her, leading me to enroll her in some swimming classes. :)
