Hello, friends! My first post of the year! I hope you are all doing well. I have a new kit to release tomorrow but wanted to pop in and wish you all a happy twenty twelve to start off.I've taken on quite a few projects already for the start of this year, and one of my ultimate creative goals this year is to share more with you. My number one goal is to document (life) more. May sound easy, but for me, it's super tough due to lack of time. I've purchased a flip-through desktop calendar at Target that looks similar to this but with a different pattern cover, with a divided section for daily notes, so I can get to it faster and easier and jot things down, like when Kalea says something super hilarious I want to remember. My problem with years before is I think too much about how I want to be doing something, than actually doing it. Last year, I thought too much about what type of journal I wanted to use... The size, color, type, etc... Thought about it too much, I never settled with one and just eventually ended up documenting them on scraps of paper I find and then accumulating them all in a shoebox... Which is not fun to sort through when I'm looking for something in particular, like the day when Kalea called a bad driver a "douchebag" after hearing daddy say it. So for this year, I just walked down to the calendar aisle and said, "Kalea, pick one out." Easy peasy. I for sure thought she'd pick the bright pink kinda ugly one, because she'll pick anything pink. But she didn't and picked a pretty teal one that I am quite pleased with.
